What is Prodemo project?
Prodemo is a project funded by the European Commission – REC Program to promote Democratic engagement through Mobile participation.
Who is the Data Controller?
Università La Sapienza di Roma, for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation, is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use PRODEMO APP services.
The data controller is UNIVERSITÀ LA SAPIENZA DI ROMA, located in Piazzale Aldo Moro, 5, 00185 Rome (PEC-certified email: protocollosapienza@cert.uniroma1.it) Pursuant to article 13 of the GDPR we wish to inform that the personal data provided will be processed by LA SAPIENZA in compliance with the legislation, in particular, based on confidentiality obligations, on the principles of lawfulness, transparency, fairness, purpose limitation, conservation, minimization, accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and responsibility (art.5, GDPR).

We process your personal data on the ground that such processing is necessary to provide the App’s services to our users.
Your personal data are collected and further processed so that we can:
- provide you access to, and enable the use of the APP;
- to improve the you user experience and customise this experience;
- send you notifications in connection with news and events.
What Personal Data We Use
Log
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we collect information about your usage of our web services that is called “logs”. These logs may include information such as the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of your mobile phone, the version of the software, the web services of our Service that you use, the time and date of requests, and other statistics such as your user ID, once you log in to the app. These logs are necessary for the purposes of service diagnostics and possibly to fulfil our obligations under applicable law.

Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Digital Ocean‘s server farm in Frankfurt.
Data subjects’ rights
Data subjects have the right to obtain from the Data Controller, where appropriate, access to their personal data as well as rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of the processing concerning them, and to object to the processing (pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation). Please contact the Data Controller to lodge all requests to exercise these rights.
Right to lodge a complaint
If a data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her as performed via this website infringes the Regulation, he or she has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Controller pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, or else to bring a judicial proceeding against the Data Controller pursuant to Article 79 of the Regulation.
